5) Blogs quickly tap in to a market. A blog can rise to the stardom very quickly, relatively speaking, and appear at the top of search engine pages in weeks even days of their launch. This gives their authors direct access in to mass markets very quickly. Here are some things you should try to build your blogs visibility. Use your email to market your blog. If like me you respond to 100's of emails a day add a signature to the end of your emails. Most software like Microsoft's outlook let you do this automatically. Use this signature to market your blog. Add a Newsletter subscription to your blog and email the subscribers each time you update your blog. Run a newsletter from your blog. Buy having a newsletter and a subscribe form on your blog you encourage loyalty in your readership bringing them back time and time again to visit your blog. Use blogging directories and networks to seek out like minded bloggers if they like your site they will link to which means you will get visitors from their blog. Invite visitors to subscribe to your RSS feeds and ask other bloggers to include your RSS feed on their blogs in return for you doing the same for them.
